               GREENBACK FOURTH OF JULY PARADE 2023

Willie Franklin, CEO Founder of The Lost Vets Rescue had the honor of being The Grand Marshall for the fourth of July parade in Greenback, TN.  Along with The Diner in Greenback celebrating it's 100th year located in downtown Greenback. The parade was a success along with evenings events. Country Concert with Nashville artist Keal Franklin and Willie Franklin performing at the community center and wonderful fireworks to end the evening.

                         2ND ANNUAL GREENBACK PANCAKE BREAKFAST

The 2nd Annual Greenback Pancake Event was "A SUCCESS". In 2023 the Pancake breakfast raised $829.00, this year 2024 we raised $2461.20. We tripled our event, and this would not have been possible without the community support. A big thank you goes out to the American Legion Post 256 Axillary for their volunteer support to help serve almost 300 pancake breakfasts.  It was a pleasure to see Greenback Mayor Dwayne Burchfield and Congressman Tim Burchett attend the event.  We appreciate the support that our community leaders give us. Can not wait to see how our breakfast grows in 2025. The date has been confirmed for 2025 Pancake Breakfast will be Saturday March 15, 2025, serving from 8 am until 11:30 am.

                            2024 BOOK BAG EVENT

In 2023 The Lost Vets filled over 100 used book bags for the homeless. We put scarfs, t-shirts, wash rags, towels, gloves, hats, hand warmers, snacks, bottled water, toothpaste, brushes, combs, soap, deodorant, shampoo, creme rinse, all types of toiletries. We deliver them to the homeless on the streets or the woods when we first find them. We will be working with schools to allow the students the last week of this school year to leave their used book bags at the office for us to pick up.
